Lincoln Driven to Give fundraiser for Landon’s Legacy Foundation on Sat May 10th

 Bob Smith Motors of Billings, Montana and the Landon’s Legacy Foundation, in memory of Landon Patrick Smith, have teamed together with the Lincoln Motor Company in a Driven to Give fundraising event on Saturday May 10th from 10:00am to 5:00 pm.

Lincoln Motor Company have pledged $20 for every Lincoln that is test driven on Sat May 10th during the event up to a maximum of $6,000. Further to this, they have also pledged a further $20 for every MKX taken as a second test drive up to a maximum of $2,000.

So, we need to get 300 test drives taken and 100 second drives in the MKX between 10:00am and 5:00pm

The  Billings Tumble Weed Program was in desperate need of a house to bring youth of the streets. City Church Pastor, Kalen Brown and his wife Bernadette, on hearing of this need, decided to donate a house used as church office space to the Tumbleweed program. Sabrina Currie, Development Director for Tumbleweed, said she couldn’t believe they were actually getting a house donated to the program.

6 deserving youths between the ages of 16-21 will now be able to call a house “home”. It will house 6 deserving kids at a time to teach them life skills and get them on the right path to being productive and responsible citizens in our community.  The kids ages range from 16-21, they are responsible for finishing school or getting their GED, finding a job, setting a budget, and learning life skills at the house such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.

The exciting new for Landon’s Legacy Foundation?  One of the rooms in the Tumbleweed Home will be called Landon’s Room!

So many of these kids don’t know what it means to have fun…
